Palliative Planning — planning for what matters most

Palliative planning is about helping people feel more prepared, supported and in control at an important stage of life.

We are delighted to acknowledge our community partner, Financial Lifestyle Partners, whose support helps us share practical information about planning ahead — from conversations about care preferences to financial wellbeing and getting important affairs in order.

By supporting this work, our partners are helping more people and families plan with confidence, reduce uncertainty for loved ones, and focus on what matters most.

What to expect in your first meeting

The initial meeting is a confidential conversation designed to give you an opportunity to discuss your circumstances, financial life planning concerns and priorities.

During the meeting, your Financial Adviser will:

  • Take the time to understand all your circumstances and immediate and ongoing needs.
  • Explain relevant financial options and areas where support may be available.
  • Identify important matters that may require attention or future planning.
  • Explain potential next steps and any associated costs if further advice is appropriate.

Family members and other support people are welcome to participate in these discussions.
